weftron LOUVER_tron® 313

is a high performance contact insert within the weftron.com product line of
Low Resistance - High Power Contact Elements.
Multiple contact louvers spaced at 2mm are crafted in a 13mm wide copper beryllium contact strip. So these power contact band louvers provide the essentially neccessary spring force required for high performance connections.
Thus introducing precisely defined multiple contact points in the connection when used inbetween two mating conducting surfaces.
The dense arrangement of contact bridge spacing of 2mm is specifically adventagous when compared to LAI type contact band. Particularly the Louver_tron 313 contact bridge geometry has a positive impact on current flow as compared to other contact bands.
Significantly for current flow the Louver_tron 313 power contact band design allows for two current paths per louver. Whereas most other louver designs only have one current path per louver between the mating metal parts

Depending on the application LOUVER_tron® 313 may be used either in flat or in pre-rounded shape. Consequently the number of contact louvers, the associated metal components and the ambient conditions define the electrical performance characteristics of this  high power contact system.
